Takasbank Money Market (TMM)
Takasbank Money Market (TMM) is an organized money market established in 1996 and operated by Takasbank since then. In the TMM, members' supplying and demanding Turkish Lira transactions of are executed. Takasbank does not participate in the TMM transactions, does not give quotations. Takasbank guarantees the obligations arising from the transactions executed within the scope of the relevant articles of the TMM Procedure. The liability of the parties trading in the market is to the TMM and counterparty information of the transactions is not shared.
Organizations that may be members of the TMM
• Investment institutions as defined in the Law,
• Mortgage Finance Institutions as defined in the Law
• Financial institutions as defined in the Law on Financial Leasing, Factoring and Financing Companies,
• Asset management companies operating under the Banking Law,
• Institutions operating in financial markets and subject to the Insurance Law and the Private Pension Savings and Investment System Law,
• Pension benefit funds, which have their own special laws and operate on a defined contribution basis,
• CBRT (natural member)
