In order to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of our customers regarding the use of personal data, we, as Takasbank would like to inform you about the the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which entered into force on April 7, 2016.

As Takasbank, we process your personal data in accordance with the principles set forth in Law No. 6698 and as permitted and required by law in order to fulfill our obligations under the Capital Markets Law No. 6362, the Banking Law No. 5411, the Law No. 6493 on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions, and all other applicable legislation and secondary regulations.

Your personal data is obtained through multiple channels within the scope of  the wide range of services offered by our bank. These channels include our members such as Brokerage Houses, Investment Companies and Energy Companies, Banks, Private Pension Companies, Finance Companies, Insurance Companies, Commodity Exchanges and Licensed Warehouses. The data provided is processed in accordance with the Banking Law, the Capital Markets Law and other relevant legislation, either fully or partially automatically or non-automatically, provided that it is part of any data recording system.
Should you apply to our bank, you have the right to learn whether your personal data has been processed, to request information about it if your personal data has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, whether in the country or abroad, and to request correction of your personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly.
