As İstanbul Takas ve Saklama Bankası A.Ş. ensuring the security of your information is one of the most important issues for our Bank. At this point, in addition to fulfilling our duties, we would like to inform our valued members/customers as users about the following issues.

Passwords/passcodes are personal information. You should never share your passwords/passcodes with third parties and should not keep them in writing in visible places. You must renew your passwords/passcodes at certain periods and within certain rules.

When determining the passwords/passcodes, combinations of numbers that can be easily guessed such as birth year, wedding anniversary should not be used and passwords/passcodes containing this information should not be created.

It is important for your security to change your passwords/passcodes regularly.

Make sure that your passwords/passcodes is different from other banking passwords/passcodes. Take care not to use the same passwords/passcodes in more than one place.

It is important that you do not write your password/passcode and user code on your computer or anywhere else in a physical environment, do not carry them in your wallet and do not share them with anyone.

If you think that your password/passcode has been compromised, you should immediately change your password/passcode and notify our Bank. 

Do not share your personal and financial information with third parties who introduce themselves as Bank employees or security officers for your security.

Make sure that your internet browser is updated with the latest version. Use a licensed operating system and programmes, take care to use your operating system and programmes in up-to-date versions.

Take care to use various protection shields such as anti-virus, anti-spyware and personal firewall on your computer and mobile devices.

Download our Bank's mobile applications only from official application stores (such as Google Play, Apple Store). Your phone may be infected with malware due to applications you download from unofficial application stores or websites. In addition, your phone book, incoming SMS and banking information may be intercepted.

Do not perform banking transactions from public computers such as internet cafes.

Make sure that your current mobile phone number is registered in our Bank's system. When your mobile phone number changes, do not forget to update your information in our Bank without wasting time.

Due to security concerns, do not reply to e-mails informing/requesting your personal information and/or password/passcode, do not click on the links specified in the content of the relevant e-mails and do not use the directions.

Access the online transaction menus offered by Takasbank only through the website www.takasbank.com.tr and use the ‘EXIT’ button to exit Takasbank's online menus.

In cases of suspected fraud and forgery, you should contact Takasbank's Member Service and Support Team. If you encounter a transaction that does not belong to you in your accounts or if you think that your password/passcode you used to log in to the Internet Branch has been learnt by third parties, we kindly request you to inform us by dialing 1122 from 0212 315 25 25.

Always check the addresses and certificates of the websites you are directed via SMS, e-mail, social media or search engines. If you see a problem in the certificate, do not make any transaction and inform our Bank.

Fraudsters can take over social media accounts and make themselves look like the relevant account owner. After accessing the account, they may contact the friends and family of the real account holder and request to share money, credit card or bank details by taking advantage of their feelings of friendship and closeness. Do not trust such person(s) and do not share your personal and financial information.

Fraudsters may ask you for your identity information, password, pin, passcode, mother's surname before marriage and similar confidential information via fake SMS, e-mail and social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), fake accounts that appear to belong to our Bank, advertisements or fake websites that you access through search engines.
