BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mahmut KAYACIK has a bachelor's from Boğaziçi University in Political Science and International Relations, a master's from Marmara University in International Economics, and a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance, with a focus on sustainability, from İstanbul Medipol University. He is also a graduate of the INSEAD Senior Executive Program. Mr. KAYACIK started his career at Yıldız Holding, where he led notable M&A and IPO projects. Between 2016-2019, Mr. KAYACIK served as General Manager and a Member of the Board of Directors of Takasbank. Before joining the Türkiye Wealth Fund in March 2021 as Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations, Mahmut KAYACIK served as the Founding General Manager and a Member of the Board of Directors at Kızılay Real Estate and Venture Capital Portfolio Management, as well as the Board Member of Kızılay Investments Holding. Mr. KAYACIK also serves as a member of the Investment Committee of Turkey's leading technology-based Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Investment Fund. In 2019, Mr. KAYACIK was given the Honor Award by the Turkish Capital Markets Association and selected as the Chairman of the Board of Takasbank on April 28, 2022.

Korkmaz Ergun earned his undergraduate degree at Ankara University Faculty of Political Science, Department of Business Administration and started his career at Borsa İstanbul the same year. He completed his masters’ degree and PhD at Marmara University, Faculty of Economics. Having 25 years of Stock Exchange and Capital Markets experience, Ergun has administered the evaluation of the initial public offerings of numerous companies, and the examination and market activities of the companies listed on Borsa İstanbul. Moreover, Ergun is the Deputy Chairman of Takasbank Board of Directors. He is also a Board Member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE). ERGUN was chosen as a Deputy of Chairman of Takasbank on 28 April 2022.

Yunus ARINCI was born in 1975 in Ordu/Kumru. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ordu/Kumru. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration and also studied Sociology at Anadolu University as a second academic programme. He started his professional career as an Assistant Inspector at the Prime Ministry in 1997 and was promoted to Inspector in 2000 and Chief Inspector in 2007. In 2007, he worked as the head of department at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye for one year. On 14 October 2009, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Prime Ministry Inspection Board. On 13 July 2015, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Presidential State Supervisory Board, a position he held until 7 June 2024. He served as a member of the Board of Auditors at Vakıfbank, a member of the Board of Directors at Erdemir and Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee at Erdemir. At the general assembly meeting of Borsa Istanbul held on 31 October 2016, he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Chairman. He represented Türkiye in numerous meetings at the international level, led many national and international projects and conducted important research. He served at the IMF as a representative of our country. ARINCI completed his master's degree in Public Administration at Indiana University in 2009 and received his doctorate degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. Since 7 June 2024, he has been serving as Takasbank General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors. Yunus ARINCI is fluent in English and is married with three children.

Münevver ÇETİN completed her master's degree at Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences in 1985, and her doctorate at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences in 1988. She received the title of Associate Professor in 1998. Since 1998, she has also given lectures on insurance seminar, insurance business management, human resources management, total quality management, introduction to business, at the Marmara University Banking Insurance Institute and the School of Banking Insurance. In the meantime, she also worked as a jury member on master and doctorate thesis consultancy and doctorate thesis monitoring, proficiency and final exams on bank and insurance issues. She also served as the Head of Insurance Department (2004-2007) and Board Member (2002-2007) at the Banking and Insurance Institute. Meanwhile; Beykent University Institute of Social Sciences, Doğuş University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Maltepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences; In addition to teaching strategic management, organizational theories, management and organization, customer relationship management, total quality management, human resources management, organizational behavior courses, she also managed postgraduate theses on these topics. In addition to teaching strategic planning, organizational behavior, total quality management courses at Kadir Has University Institute of Social Sciences (2003-2008), he also served as a jury member in thesis consultancy and thesis monitoring, proficiency, and thesis defense exams. In addition, she provided training to those working in the banking school of Ziraat Bank. She worked as a project manager on the Scale Economies and Efficiency in the Insurance Sector at Marmara University (2005). She still teaches at the School of Banking and has been a Member of the Board for 19 years. In 2006, she received the title of Professor. Some of her finance theses: Unemployment Risk in the Real Sector and Banking Sector (2009), Private Sector Bond Pricing in Terms of Alternative Financing Sources in International Markets; Application (2007), E-Business and Development of Alternative Distribution Channels and Its Effect on Financial Sector in Turkey (2006), The Place of Mortgage Banking in Emerging Economies in Housing Finance (2009), An Application for the Determination and Distribution of Capital in the Determination of the Financial Adequacy of the Insurance Companies (2008) The paper presented jointly at the Eighth Strategy Congress (2008) is "The Effects of Leadership Styles and the Communication Competency of Bank Managers on the Employee's Job Satisfaction: The Case of Turkish Banks". Between 2014 and 2016, she served as the Advisor to the Head of Disaster and Emergency Management. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as advisor to the Undersecretary of the Prime Ministry.

Murat ONUK, born in Istanbul in 1974, graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University. Since 1993, he has worked in various managerial and executive leadership positions in the IT and finance sectors. After having worked in managerial positions in Microsoft Turkey (1999-2004), he subsequently held a variety of senior executive positions at Microsoft Headquarters (Redmond, USA), including responsibility initially for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) followed by assumption of Global responsibility (2004-2009). He served as Executive Vice President at TTNET between 2009-2010 and as an appointed Consultant to the CEO at Türk Telekom between 2010-2012. From 2013 to 2016, he was involved in angel investment activities in various organizations while serving as a member of the boards of directors in affiliated enterprises. He joined Arz Asset Management in 2017 where he is a Managing Partner at present. In May 2020, he was appointed President of the Legislative and Regulatory Commission in the Turkey Venture Capital Council at The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). He has also been appointed a Member of the Board of Auditors in the Turkey Capital Market Association (TCMA) in September 2020 and a Board Member at Takasbank in 28 April 2022.

Murat TACİR was born in 1970 in Istanbul, he completed his high school education in Kadıköy Anatolian High School and his undergraduate education in Istanbul University, Department of Business Administration in English in 1993. Murat TACİR completed the Marketing certificate program at the University of California Berkeley and then he started his career by working in the Marketing and Finance departments of Sümer Plastik A.Ş. In 1995, he met capital markets at Tacirler Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. He worked in different positions and he still works as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors in the same company at Tacirler Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. In the last period of IMKB, he was the Auditor of Board(2012-2013), Board Member in Borsa İstanbul (2014-2017) and he still works as Deputy President of Capital Market Council at The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. He was married with two children. TACİR was chosen as a Board Member at Takasbank on 28 April 2022.
