TaşıtTakas System at Your Service
In order to prevent fraud and theft incidents, which are frequently encountered during the purchase and sales process of vehicles, our Bank became the first financial institution in the Secure Payment System, which is the product of joint work between Notaries Union of Turkey and Ministry of Trade, Takasbank Taşıttakas System is presented simultaneously with Notaries Union of Turkey (TNB) to the service of our people as of February 3, 2020.
By using TaşıtTakas, it is aimed to exchange the ownership right of the vehicle and sales price simultaneously and to eliminate the counterparty risk. A protocol has been signed with Notaries Union of Turkey to provide services in the Secure Payment System and Takasbank has started to serve as custodian financial institution where cash will be blocked during vehicle purchase and sales transactions.
TaşıtTakas, developed by Takasbank, provides safe, low-cost and fast transfer convenience to the parties in vehicle sales transactions without any risk of carrying cash. It is aimed to prevent all negative issues by the buyer and the seller during the exchange of vehicle ownership right and sales price, by checking the bank account number of the seller to whom the sales price will be transferred and the bank account number of the buyer from which the sales amount will be transferred to Takasbank.
TaşıtTakas system that can be accessed from the website www.tasittakas.com.tr or via IOS and Android based mobile applications, provides following facilities;
• Simultaneous exchange of vehicle ownership right and cash sales price,
• Elimination of trust problem among the parties,
• Eliminating the risk of carrying cash,
• Easy Transfer at low-cost.
Registration transactions performed via TaşıtTakas will be carried out at a low cost corresponding to 15 TRY, 10 TRY of which is the participation share of The Notaries Union of Turkey. The fee will be collected by deducting the relevant amount from the vehicle sales price that will be be transferred to the Seller via EFT.
How Will TaşıtTakas Work?
After the seller and the buyer agreed, the seller enters TaşıtTakas System and defines the sales information into the system. The Reference Number created by Notaries Union of Turkey is sent to the Buyer and the Seller via SMS. The Buyer enters the system with the relevant reference number and identifies the purchase information. After the identity checks and IBAN verification by Takasbank whether the information entered belongs to the license holder and the person who will obtain the license system entry process is completed. Thereafter, the buyer transfers the amount to the account notified by Takasbank. The parties are informed via SMS at every stage of transactions. During the notary registration process, it is checked through TaşıtTakas System whether the sales price has been paid or not. When the registration is completed, Takasbank will be informed by Notaries Union of Turkey and upon this message, Takasbank will transfer the sales amount to the Seller’s account via EFT. Therefore, the vehicle ownership and sales amount will be changed securely.
