Takasbank, attributing great significance to its business continuity for the related markets, is progressively promoting itself via tests conducted by the active participation of its stakeholders as well as upgrading infrastructure practices pursued up to date, in order to be able to keep the impact of possible disruptions at minimum levels.

Within this context the practices being conducted in order to be prepared for the events with a potential to create an impact on the critical functions and processes and to achieve agility to respond rapidly to any event, started to be executed through management system approach, ensuring “plan, operate, control, improve” cycle to be continuous.

Takasbank was granted ISO 22301:2012 Business Continuity Management System Certificate upon the results of the audits conducted by the British Standards Institute (BSI) in November and December 2014, with the aim of certifying Takasbank Business Continuity Management System’s (BCMS) efficiency and compliance with international standards.

ISO 22301, being an international standard determining the requirements for establishing and managing an effective BCMS, identifies the operations for defining potential threats for the organization and their effects on the operations and also responding effectively to events and protecting the interests of the organization as well as customers and  key stakeholders.
