The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA)
The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) is a non-profit organisation representing the common interests of securities lending and financing market participants in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. ISLA has more than 190 members, including institutional investors, asset managers, custody banks and prime brokers. Working in close co-operation with national, regional and global regulators as well as regulators, ISLA advocates the importance of securities lending to the wider financial services industry. ISLA supports both the Global Master Securities Lending Agreement (GMSLA) legal framework, the Transfer of Property on Collateral and Securities Interest variants, as well as periodic enforceability and collateral enforcement in global jurisdictions.
