Takasbank is the National Numbering Agency authorized by the Capital Markets Board for allocating ISIN and CFI codes for the securities and other financial instruments issued in Turkey.
ISIN code (ISO 6166), which is the international standard used for identifying securities, is used in our country for stock certificates, government bonds, treasury bills, Forward Option Exchange contracts and investment funds.
Furthermore, Takasbank continues its studies towards the use of FISN standard (ISO 187749), the short identification code for securities including the ISO 18773 standard, which is related to the abbreviations for securities and the abbreviations determined according to this standard, and ISO 16372 (IBEI) standard planned as identifying code for non-bank institutions in the Turkish capital markets. |
