For the brokerage houses of which the capital market operations have been terminated by the Capital Markets Board prior to the transition to dematerialized system and the brokerage houses of which the activities were stopped after dematerialization and Takasbank was assigned by the CMB for carrying out the transactions; the transfer transactions of the securities in customer accounts are realized by Takasbank.
The investors of the brokerage house, of which the activities were terminated and Takasbank was assigned, can transfer the stocks/cash in their accounts (where there is no restriction) to another brokerage house. (physical delivery or sales transaction via Takasbank is not possible)
In order to transfer a balance in a customer account with a brokerage house of which the
activities were terminated and transferred to another brokerage house;
- The investors have to apply to the related brokerage house. (In case the related brokerage house can not be accessed after reconcilement transactions a direct application can be made to Takasbank.)
The investors can add the copy of their identity cards and Republic of Turkey Identity Information to the original of the application letter and send it to Takasbank and make a transfer to their own accounts with the other brokerage house. |
